"WHEN Kimberly Stewart, 26, unveiled her 5-carat
engagement ring from Talan Torriero, 19, a week ago, most
people assumed Stewart had financed it herself — after all, Torriero has no job
besides his stint on the "Laguna Beach" reality show. Wrong! Torriero did indeed
buy the $75,000 bauble. During a shoot for the Bongo clothing line this week in
L.A., Torriero was overheard telling pals he used his dad's credit card. Now
that the brief engagement is off, "I should be able to get a full refund," he
said hopefully. "
